Safety & commercial disclosures

Last updated September 8, 2026

Appliance Verdict is an independent educational troubleshooting service. It is not a manufacturer, repair company, or emergency service.

Current commercial status

Affiliate monetization and compensated service-request routing are not currently enabled. The prelaunch site does not currently use configured affiliate destination URLs, and it does not collect contact information for a paid service referral.

Safety

Stop for smoke, gas odor, sparking, electrical shock, active flooding, or any step that exceeds your skill level. We intentionally stop before energized electrical testing, microwave high-voltage work, gas-system work, sealed refrigerant-system work, and safety-device bypasses.

Affiliate links

If affiliate links are enabled in the future, qualifying links will be disclosed and Appliance Verdict may earn a commission if you buy through one, at no additional cost to you. Compensation will not change the diagnostic branch or evidence label shown.

Service referrals

If compensated service routing is enabled in the future, the recipient and applicable data-sharing terms will be disclosed before contact information is collected. Service handoff will remain separated from diagnostic logic and will appear only after the reviewed path reaches an appropriate stopping point.

Independence

Manufacturer names and trademarks identify appliances and source material. Appliance Verdict is not endorsed by those manufacturers unless explicitly stated.
